Designs & Interfaces / Tattoo Design

I didn't originally intend this as a tattoo, but this seems the most appropriate place to put it. This is a design from a sketchbook I kept years ago, reworked on my computer.

Most of my designs are drawn with any particular intent in mind to start off with, so it doesn't have any kind of symbolism. The title however, comes from the idea that it is a circle with movement inside of it. Some people have told me that it also reminds them of a mother's womb somehow.

wow, I've been looking for a tattoo design for almost 3 years, and yours is the first which really strikes me.
Originally I wanted a simple design of the earth, but I must admit yours is really good...
If you don't mind, I may use it for my tattoo, I'll show you a picture if I do so !

It's quite a bit smaller than the other two girls' that I've seen on here with it, but it turned out real well. I'll need a bit of touch-up, but I'm happy with it.

Fantastic design, quite simple but beautiful and stylish. All the elements work together incredibly well, though I have to say I'm more fond of the top than the bottom. I really dig those "comma-shaped" parts.
